Paul Brook studied at the prestigious Arts Institute, Bournemouth, and
Sinar in Switzerland. As well as a degree in photography Paul also has
his professional qualifying examination (PQE) from The British Institute
of Professional Photographers (BIPP).
Paul opened Brook’s Studio 13 years ago
and built the business up to be a successful high street studio,
establishing his style as a contemporary portrait and wedding
photographer as well as in advertising and editorial.
In 2002 Brook’s Studio expanded and started photography seminars. The
seminars were aimed at the keen amateur looking to develop there hobby
into a full/part time business. Over the past 6 years the demand for the
seminars has expanded dramatically, resulting in the opening of Brook’s
School Of Photography to run along side the successful commercial
studio.
Sophie
Bowdler LRPS
Studio Manager
Sophie is now in her fourth year at Brook’s Studio. After doing her two year apprenticeship with day release at Poole College she has achieved her City and Guilds certificate in Photography and her Licentiateship with the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS). She has this year also completed her Diploma in Small Business Financial Management.
As well as assisting, Sophie works as a main photographer both in the studio and for weddings. She is also responsible for the day to day running of the company.
Stacey
Jones LRPS
Course Coordinator
Stacey is now in her third year at Brook's Studio and has become a great asset to the company. She has achieved her City and Guilds certificate in Photography and her Licentiateship with the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS).
Stacey assists in the studio and out on location, including weddings. She is responsible for the planning, organisation and logistics involved with running the courses as well as being the main tutor for Photoshop.
